I was honoured to have been entrusted by Changing Faces to film their 2024 Christmas appeal in partnership with The Big Give.

The campaign focussed on the heartwarming story of Lola, a three-year-old girl with a hemangioma—commonly known as a strawberry birthmark—on her left cheek and chin. For families like Lola’s, Christmas can be bittersweet. Increased social gatherings often lead to more stares and unkind comments, which can dampen the festive spirit.

It was a real treat to meet both Lucy and Lola. Lola was excited to show me her own camera (In the photo above we’re taking a photo of each other) Hers admittedly is much cooler than mine!
