The drone delivers stunning Ultra HD 4K D-Cinelike video in 30/60FPS and up to 48MP RAW photos. The gimbal offers a wide rotation range for low-angle shots and True Vertical Shooting which is perfect for social media channels.

Are you qualified to fly commercially?

I’m legally qualified to fly within residential, commercial, industrial and recreational areas under the UK Civil Aviation Authority A1 and A3 Open Sub Category with a valid Flyer and Operator ID.

Are you insured?

I’m fully insured for commercial drone operation with public liability cover of £1 million. Evidence of cover can be supplied on request.

Are there restrictions as to where you can fly?

I can legally fly within residential, commercial, industrial and recreational areas under the UK Civil Aviation Authority A1 and A3 Open Sub Category. I can fly over uninvolved people but not directly over large crowds who can’t safely disperse.

Any flight restriction zones around airfields etc must be observed and the drone must be operated within visual line of sight (VLOS) at an altitude no higher than 120m/400ft.

What weather conditions can you fly in?

Drones require reasonably stable weather to fly safely. The weather must be dry and the drone has a maximum wind resistance of 10.7m/s (Level 5). The specific wind conditions that allow safe flying will vary depending on the environment and nearby obstacles etc.

How high can you fly?

In the UK you can legally fly up to a maximum of 120m or 400ft.

What pre-flight checks will you do?

Before any commercial drone flight I’ll carry out a virtual survey of the site using Google Maps and Google Earth and check for any specific flight restrictions or hazards in the area. I’ll also assess the sun position, height and angle of the sun at the expected flight date and time for best results. I’ll monitor the weather forecast to ensure conditions are safe for flying and all standard guidelines for safe flying will be adhered to in line with the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
