Quality commercial photography to showcase your business

Whether you need a commercial photographer to shoot your staff, your premises, your customers, your products or just beautiful images to support your printed material I can work with you to ensure great results.

Photography with Designers in Mind

With extensive experience as a designer, I bring a unique perspective to commercial photography that sets me apart. Having worked with countless image libraries over the years, I understand exactly what designers and marketing teams need from a set of brand images.

This means I shoot with purpose—considering variation, layout, and composition at every stage. I capture wide shots with negative space for editorial copy, create flexible crops that can work across formats, and deliver a consistent visual language that’s ready to plug into multi-platform campaigns. It’s this background that allows me to offer more than just great images—I deliver strategic, usable visual assets that work hard across all areas of your brand.

Commercial photography FAQs

How soon will we receive the images?

I’ll ensure that the images from your shoot are edited, processed and sent back to you in a timely manner. You’ll usually have these back within a few days.

How will the images be delivered?

Images will be delivered to you via a secure online gallery. From here you’ll be able to download images as you need at full resolution.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, Simon Wiffen Photography holds Public Liability Insurance for £2 million.

Do you have backup equipment?

Of course! I always shoot with a backup camera body close to hand and my equipment setup has been designed with redundancy in mind so in the event of failure I’m able to continue working and providing you with great images.

If we think of additional shots we need on the day, will you stay longer?

I’ll discuss the specific shot list with you in advance of the shoot to make sure things run smoothly. However, if you think of additional shots on the day that require me to stay for longer I’ll do my best to stay available for as long as you need me. Any additional time will be charged at my standard hourly rate.

Do you charge expenses?

I don’t charge expenses for shoots within a 30 mile round trip. Outside that radius I charge travel expenses at 45p per mile. If there are additional expenses (train or hotel for example) these will be chargeable but I’ll agree these with you in advance.

What usage rights are included in your price?

When I provide the images to you I’ll grant your company licence to use the images for marketing, PR and editorial use for as long as you need for no additional cost. If any other companies wish to use the images for their own publicity or marketing purposes I’ll charge them a reproduction fee. I’ll retain the copyright to all images and retain the right to use them for my own promotional purposes.

What time will you arrive?

I believe in acting in a professional manner at all times. I’ll always aim to arrive in a timely manner and in advance of our agreed start time.

What happens if we have to cancel?

Once we’ve agreed a booking, in the event of a cancellation or postponement I will, at my discretion charge a fee based on how close we are to the shoot as detailed in my terms and conditions. 5 working days 25% of the agreed fee, 3-4 working days 50% of fee, 48 hours 75% of fee and 24 hours or less 100% of fee.

Do you have an upcoming photography requirement you’d like to discuss?

To discuss a project please give me a call or drop me an email and I’d be happy to talk through some ideas. I’d love to work with you!
