Family photography is all about telling stories and having fun. I take photographs that capture a unique personality or simply document a moment in time to be remembered forever.

As a dad of three, I understand only too well how quickly children grow up. My passion has always been to document these precious moments with high end fine art style photography. I deliver stunning galleries with a mix of colour and my timeless signature black and white style.

I was pretty much lying on the ground shooting upwards to help reinforce the hight of his throw and to allow the long grass to come into the foreground of the shot to put the viewer right into the shot.

Portrait session £150

Portrait sessions last approximately 1 hour. Over the course of the session I’ll capture the moments that matter most to your family. Whether that be at your home, in a nearby park or on a woodland walk. You’ll receive a beautiful set of images that capture your story. Get in touch to schedule your shoot.

Gift vouchers From £150

If you’d like to gift someone a photo session or a discount package then you can purchase a gift voucher in my shop. If you’d like a specific package not listed then get in touch and I can provide you with a gift voucher for a package that suits your needs. These make wonderful gifts.

Where will our shoot take place?

My family photography sessions take place on location. This may be at your home, at a nearby park or on a woodland walk. I believe family photography is all about telling stories and having fun so I’m happy to work at any location that allows me to capture your unique story (as long as there are no photographic restrictions). Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to have a chat about potential locations.

Are there any added costs?

All booked family photography sessions include all your digital edited images at a resolution perfect for sharing with friends and family on social media. If you wish to purchase full resolution digital images for printing or fine art printed products then these are available at additional cost. If your session is taking place on location, I’ll ask you to cover any entrance fees, parking fees or related expenses. Full Terms & Conditions are provided at the time of booking.

What if my child doesn’t like having their picture taken?

Don’t worry! Every child is different. I’ll take the time to get to know your little one and understand what makes them tick. My experience in portrait photography means their unique personality will shine through. My shooting style is very relaxed. I don’t pose your children. Instead I let them play freely and express themselves. I’ll join in with their playing and combine a documentary style with skilled portraiture to capture beautiful, natural images that you and your child will treasure forever.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Absolutely! Gift vouchers are available to buy in my shop and make fantastic gifts for friends or family. Gift vouchers are available for standard portrait sessions or for sessions including any of my discount product packages. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable. Just let me know who the voucher is for and where they’re based in the ‘Order notes’ field during checkout and I’ll send you over a beautifully designed digital voucher that you can print and present to your loved one.

What printed products do you offer?

I believe that photography should be displayed and enjoyed. I can arrange for the finest Giclée Fine Art Prints, stunning professionally mounted and framed prints, Canvases and Edge Prints. See my Products & Prices page for more information of the options available.

Do you offer discount packages?

Although your shoot includes all your digital images at standard resolution, you may choose to purchase printed products or full resolution digital files after your shoot. I have a number of product packages that offer significant discounts. If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a friend or loved one, gift vouchers are available in my shop that include both a portrait session and product package. These make wonderful gifts.

What should I wear?

It’s best to keep things simple and avoid bold patterns or large logos. Hats or other accessories can sometimes help to mix things up too! The most important thing is that your child is comfortable.

Should we bring anything?

If your child has a favourite toy that can help them feel more relaxed and give us something to talk about. Depending on where we shoot, any toy or game that encourages play would be great to bring with you.

What happens if it rains?

I’m used to shooting in a variety of weather conditions and I use weather sealed professional equipment so I’m certainly not put off by a little rain. As long as you and your family dress appropriately a bit of bad weather shouldn’t cause us too many problems. I’ll monitor the forecast as we get nearer to the shoot and if it looks like the weather is particularly bad I may suggest we look to reschedule if possible. I want everyone to be comfortable during the shoot.

I'm nervous about having my picture taken

Don’t worry! I’ll make sure you and your family are relaxed and comfortable so you can forget about the shoot and just enjoy yourselves.

When your session is booked I’ll send you a copy of my pre-shoot guide which includes lots of tips to help make sure you get the most out of your session. All you need to do it turn up and I’ll do the rest!
