New Behind the Scenes Video: Delivering Event Photography & Video in Real Time at UKREiiF 2026

One of the questions I’m often asked is how I manage large event shoots on my own, especially when clients need both photography and video delivered throughout the event.

In this behind the scenes video, I take you through the workflow and planning that helps keep everything running smoothly.

My latest YouTube video follows me through a three day event shoot at UKREiiF 2026, where I was photographing panel discussions, filming interviews with speakers and delivering both photo and video content to the client’s social media team throughout the event.

Each panel lasted around an hour. During that time I needed to capture and edit the photography while the session was still in progress, before photographing a group shot at the end. Immediately afterwards, I filmed interviews with the panellists, processed the footage and delivered everything before the next panel began. It made for a demanding workflow, but one that relied on careful planning and a consistent routine throughout the event.

Rather than simply documenting the event itself, the video explores the workflow behind the job, including the equipment I used, the challenges I encountered and how I kept every deliverable on schedule.

If you’re interested in commercial event photography, videography or the practical realities of working under pressure at live events, I hope you’ll find it an interesting watch.
