A couple of weeks ago I was invited down to a preview evening to shoot some food photography for their fantastic dishes ahead of their big launch party. Whilst the menu changes all the time the preview menu had some amazing looking dishes (Cheeseburger spring rolls anyone?). I have to say, the food looked absolutely stunning so it was a pleasure to shoot.
The team down there are great so if you’re looking for something a bit special you should check them out. I’m looking forward to seeing what else Jono brings to the table.
If you’re in the food and drink industry and are looking for food and drink photography that lets your products shine then contact me for a quote. I’d love to help.
Zoë Eady is a Glass Artist based in Leeds. In her studio, The Glass Garden, she creates her Stained Glass artwork using both traditional and modern techniques. The majority of her works are large decorative panels commissioned for peoples homes.
Zoë invited me along to spend a few hours with her in the studio to shoot her at work. I had a great time learning about the various stages of her process as well as finding all about the commissions she’s currently working on.
Her studio is a veritable treasure trove absolutely full of beautiful little details that give a real insight into her personal workspace.
“Simon came to the project with a keen eye for the little details that make The Glass Garden a magical place to work. He brought a sensitivity to the work that perfectly reflects the environment. Exactly what I was hoping to achieve.”

Excentra are a B2B marketing agency, partnering with businesses to help them grow. Having worked with them previously to deliver photography for their clients, Excentra asked me to come in for a photoshoot for their own marketing purposes.
I was commissioned to deliver a set of images that captured the dynamic agency environment of the Excentra offices to be used across their company brochures and website. I took the time to speak to the staff and understand their business before blending into the background to document their work with the minimum of interruption to deliver natural and high quality results.
On-site corporate headshots
As well as the documentary-style approach to the main shoot I was also asked to provide high quality corporate headshots of the team. With lightweight and portable lighting equipment I was able to deliver on-site portraits that were both consistent and on-brand with the minimum of disruption.
“Can’t recommend enough, some really great photos and excellent communication throughout.”
– Joel Draba-Mann, Excentra
